Introduction
Sarswati Vidya Mandir English Medium Public School was established in year 1985 as a primary school to provide moral and qualitative education to the growing kids . The idea was conceived by some progressive parents who were eager to see their children to have model education on scientific lies. 
The dream has now come true and now it has become a senior secondary school with Science stream and Commerce stream. Emphasis is on character building while imparting education on modern lines teaching staff is giving due attention to over all development of the children and result are very encouraging .
With people’s faith, SVM. has become a centre of high quality education and we assure of many more achievements in the near future.
The school run by Mandi Sarswati Vidya Mandir Prabandh Samiti, registered under society Act-1860 in 1991. The Prabandh Samiti is supported by governing body who looks after the management and day to day functioning of the school, We do not have any other branch of his school.
AFFILIATION
School is affiliation to H.P . Board of School Education Dharmshala upto +2 level. The syllabus of H.P. Board is strictly followed for all the classes. ( Computer Education is given from 1st to 8th standards and Computer Science as a subject from 9th to +2 classes). Subjects offered up to 10th Class – English, Maths, Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Science ( In Hindi Medium) , Moral Science ,ART/ (HKLS/Yoga-6th to 8th). Subject offered for class +1 and +2 : English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Computer Science, Phy. Education for Science stream. And for commerce stream Accountancy, Business Studies, Ecomonics, Math, English, Phy. Education, Computer Science.
PATTERN OF EDUCATION
Our school is English Medium co-educational institute affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharmshala up to secondary level an runs classes from Nursery too class 10+2. For interesting and comprehensive education now the school has adopted thee play way method for the pre-primary classes and smart class system of education for all the classes from Nursery to 10+2 class.
